Meadow Flower Tablescape
Wander around the beautiful cottage garden, flower fields, meadows and hedgerows at a Hay Lane Flowers, With a guided tour you will be encouraged to pick your choice of flowers, foliage and grasses to create an airy table centre display that will make you dream of wandering a peaceful meadow. We will show you how to create a table display using chicken wire in a rustic container. The workshop will last 2 hours and include refreshments.

Bring your own vase
Spend a relaxing afternoon at the rural countryside flower farm home to Haylane Flowers . You will have a tour of the farm exploring the seasonal flowers and foliage available. In the workshop you will be shown how to arrange your chosen flowers in your favourite, this will include a hand-tied bouquet option or alternative method. The workshop will last 2 hours and include tea and delicious cake.

Dinner Party Flowers
Spend a late afternoon learning how to create a variety of table centres in the beautiful grounds of Turvey House. You will have an array of locally grown seasonal blooms and be shown how to create a number of low arrangements perfec for tables centres, before having a go yourself. The workshop will last 2 hours and include a glass of fizz and delicious cake.

Summer bouquet workshop
On this workshop you will get to explore a rural flower farm at Haylane Flower farm, with a cottage garden, range of beds and fields of flowers. Jane will show you the large array of flowers that are blooming and you will then be given a bucket and set free to cut and collect the stems that attract you. Then in the workshop you will be shown how to arrange these chosen flowers in a hand-tied vase arrangement that you can take home. The workshop will last 2 hours and include tea and delicious cake.​

Eco-friendly footed bowl workshop
Spend a relaxing afternoon in the beautiful grounds of Turvey House learning how to make an elegant table centre in cut glass footed bowl. We will be using the old fashioned and eco-friendly method of chicken wire rather than foam, and lots of lovely locally grown British flowers and foliage. The workshop will last 2 hours and include refreshments.​

Wedding Flowers workshop
This workshop will give you the skills and understanding you need to create basic wedding flowers. You wll be able to pick your own flowers from the walled gardens at Howbury Farm Flowers, and then will be show how to create and finish a hand-tied bouquet, buttonholes, hairpieces and simple tablecentres. We will also cover how to store and transport the flowers to keep these as fresh as possible for the big day.
The cost of this workshop is £125 per person and includes a delicious lunch with produce grown in the grounds.

Summer Bouquet Workshop

Eco installation masterclass
On this workshop you will learn how to create 2 different types of archway full of seasonal foliage and flowers and also a hanging hoop. You willl learn the mechanisms to create freestanding archways, and ways to keep the flowers fresh without the use of floral foam. You will forage for foliage, cut your own flowers and then learn how to create a beautiful natural displays that would be perfect for a church or entrance to a venue or marquee. 


The workshop will last 6 hours and will include a delicious lunch made from produce grown on the estate.

Summer bouquet workshop
Immerse yourself in a beautiful rural flower farm and early summer blooms for a relaxing morning of creativity. Explore the working flower farm at Hay Lane Flowers and learn about the flowers that are being grown at this time of year. You will be given a bucket and allowed to choose a selection of flowers and foliag that attract you. Then in the workshop you will be shown how to arrange these chosen flowers in a hand-tied arrangement that you can take home. The workshop will last 2.5 hours and include tea and delicious cake.​

Recycled Vase workshop
Welcome the Summer by creating beautiful display of British blooms in a recycled/upcycled container. The workshop will take place at this fabulous charities environmental and recycling store Impact Interiors in Bedford . Percentage of the ticket prices will be given to the charity who provide supported accommodation, domestic abuse refuges and support in other areas of social need across Bedfordshire.
The workshop will last 2 hours and include refreshments and delicious cake.

Large eco urn workshop
This workshops will allow you to create you own large urn overflowering with seasonal foliage and flowers. You willl make your own chicken wire structure to use in water (as an alternative to foam), foraging for foliage, cut your own flowers and then learning how to create a beautiful natural urn that is perfect for a church or entrance to a venue or marquee. Will will also discuss how to transport arrangements and pricing.The workshop will last 3 hours and refreshments will be available.

Celebrate British flowers week by learning how to create a vase arrangement full of beautiful British blooms. After a tour of the walled garden and grounds of the house you will then relax in the old stable block learning how to arrange flowers in a range of size and style vase.
