Celebrate British Flower Week

Sunday 24th June - 1- 4pm

Immerse yourself in beautiful flowers for the afternoon in the stunning surroundings of Tofte Manor

Celebrate British Flower Week with us and enjoy a relaxing afternoon surrounded by natural beauty and a gorgeous range of locally grown flowers.

You will be welcomed to the Crystal room with a display and discussion of seasonal flowers available and a given a demonstration of what you will create later in the afternoon.

Armed with your knowledge and excitement to choose your ingredients you will then follow a trail around the beautiful grounds, following a flower map to ‘pick’ your favourite flowers from buckets placed around the gardens. This will take you around the formal sunken garden, tranquil labyrinth and some of the more unusual features of unusual swings hidden amongst stately trees and mystical giant crystals in curious places.

After delicious cakes and refreshments you will then be shown how to design and make a hand tied bouquet that would make a beautiful vase arrangement, and then you get to have a go! You don’t need any experience just an appreciation of flowers and willingness to learn news skills.

The venue for this workshop with be Tofte Manor in Sharnbrook, north Bedfordshire

To end the day there will also be a demonstration of a large natural urn arrangement on the labyrinth.

The cost of the 3 hour workshop (from 1pm to 4 pm) is £60 per person. The 5 acres of beautiful grounds are also available for you to wander around beforehand and you would be welcome to bring a picnic to have on the formal lawn, sunken gardens or while dipping your legs in the outdoor swimming pool!

Included in the workshop are refreshments and cakes, all tools and materials needed, and you will also get to take home a beautiful arrangement that you made and will be proud of.
