Living wreath workshop
Learn how to make a completely compostable display with no foam, wires or pins. This will involve starting from scratch by weaving your own willow ring, creating a moss base to keep the flowers moist and adding pretty spring bulbs and flowers to decorate.
The workshop will take place in the beautiful old stables at Turvey House and we will take a tour of the grounds to collect foliages as part of the experience. The workshop should last 2 hours and include tea and delicious cake.

Easter Table Centre - Eco friendly
Embrace the beauty of spring flowers and foliages and create a beautiful spring arrangement to sit proudly on your table. We will use locally grown flowers During the workshops you will then be guided through making an eco-friendly table centre using chicken wire.
The workshop will last 2 hours and include tea and delicious cake.

Easter Eco Table Centre

May Day flower crown workshop
Spend a relaxing afternoon in a beautiful yurt at this rural retreat making a fresh or dried flower crown. Traditionally a day young girls would make crowns ready for the celebrations and maypole dancing. We will teach you how to prepare and create a pretty floral crown with a mix of beautiful blooms and foliage.
The workshop will last 2 hours and include refreshments and delicious cake.

Spring bouquet workshop
Spend a relaxing morning exploring Hay Lane Flowers beautiful rural flower farm. Jane will show you around and talk about the flowers that are being grown at this time of year. You will be able to choose and collect a range of flower and foliage. Then in the workshop you will be shown how to arrange these chosen flowers in a hand-tied vase arrangement.

Garden to vase arrangements
Create your own arrangement using late Spring flowers gathered from the walled garden and estates at Howbury Farm. The workshop will teach you how to arrange flowers in your favourite vase that you bring from home. You will learn different techniques for different type and style vases that will help you create beautiful arrangement in your home, including a bouquet option or grid method.
The workshop will last 2 hours and include tea and delicious cake.
